又有同事退休

今午收到傳聞已久的台灣IT經理退休的消息，和之前另一位IT同事的公佈一起作比較，覺得這個版本比較簡潔。也是我個人較喜歡所用的版本。

Frank Feng, Field IT Manager will be retiring from FedEx due after an illustrious 35-year career, effective March 3, 2022. Please join me in wishing him all the best as he begins this new chapter of life.
Frank started his career with FedEx as an Technology Specialist in March 1990, covering support for IT for the Taiwan district. With his professionalism and commitment, he successfully progressed to the IT Manager position in April 1997.

He provided leadership and steered the Field IT Team in Taiwan in many of the initiatives and projects including most recently:
Integration with TNT and the related facility space optimization across Taiwan, ensuring IT network connectivity continue to be available and resilient.
– Relocation of TNT TPE Gateway warehouse from current site to CMJA facility for outbound shipments with the re-deployment of both FedEx & TNT network & systems to support all operations activities in the new site.
– In the aftermath of the TNT Malware cyber-attack, Frank mobilized his team to provide immediate IT support to TNT to rebuild all user endpoint devices and servers affected
– His outstanding performance has been highly recognized as the winner of various prestige awards including APAC Excellence Awards. He has also received multiple Bravo Zulu Awards due to his significant contribution to strategic projects in Taiwan and the region.

Please join me in thanking Frank for his 32 years of contributions to FedEx and congratulating him on a well-deserved retirement.

隨著不少同事到今天退出職場進入另一個人生的下半場，我在想哪天到我對天而笑地離開服務多年的職場呢?
